Mid Autumn Festival is celebrated annually in many Asian countries. In 2018 ACCA partnered with Canada Bay Council and organised a China Fun Rhodes 2018 Mid Autumn Festival. Highlight Entertainment was contracted to supply sound system for this event at Foreshore Park, Rhodes.
A Skytone Vera 12 line array system was used on the main stage, plus 6 JBL speakers where used at different locations. The Skytone Vera 12 consists of 4 of 12 inches speakers and 2X S18 subwoofers, driven by iTech18000 and iTech12000 digital amplifier. 2X P10 10 inches speakers were used for stage foldback powered by iTech5000 amp.
The Vera 12 and JBL speakers all offered high quality sound for this event. Performers and organisers has nothing but positive feedback on their performance. Great sound makes the shows much enjoyable for audience and participants.
Needless to day, nothing is possible without a professional and experienced team. Our technical director Derek was leading the team for setup, sound test as well as operating a Soundcraft Si Impact console for the main stage. Sound technician Philip was responsible for a smaller stage with a Soundcraft EFX12 console. Both of them are SAE graduates with years of experience in live and recording sound.
