Rap of China is a is a Chinese rap competition show produced by iQiyi. The show has been credited for making hip hop widespread and mainstream in mainland China.
The show was then promoted outside mainland China to overseas Chinese audience. Highlight Entertainment was contracted by Nanhai Culture & Media Group to produce lighting for their show at Metro Theatre.
A total of 12 of XMLite 10R Beam and 6 of XMlite Hotbeam Hybrid Moving Heads, together with 2 of DJPower DJ2000 Haze Machines were used by Highlight to produce this show.
The XMLite 10R Beams are fast & quite while producing sharp and focused beam. Their 16 facet prism and frost look brilliant and add to the variety of looks that these beam movers can create.
The 10R Hotbeam on the other hand has a second gobo wheel, and a zoom function offering much wide beam angle and more impressive prism effect. These two fixtures works very well together to produce the vibrant and dynamic lighting show that suits this type of performance.
